InStyle Stone & Concrete. were appointed by Kane Constructions for the extensive restoration work to the Terrazzo floor and concrete work at the Horsham Town Hall and Horsham Regional Art.
Constructed in 1938 and listed on the Victorian Heritage Register in 2011, the Town Hall itself, as well as elements such as the facade, terrazzo seal, box office and staircase were refurbished as part of the redevelopment.
The Horsham Regional Art Gallery, housed within the heritage-listed building was funded by State and Federal Government grants, combined with local fundraising and a contribution from Council.
InStyle Stone & Concrete were faced with the substantial challenge of restoring the Terrazzo, where original materials were largely unavailable. Sourcing materials from local and intestate suppliers and utilizing techniques used in the original Terrazzo installation, the results have been exceptional.
